Landscapes
Javea (or Xabia in the local Valenciano language) has long been called the Dawn of Spain, Amanecer de España, as it occupies the most easterly point facing the Mediterranean Sea.
The golden rays of the sun will rise variously on the three headlands of the region - San Antonio, San Martin and the Cabo de la Nao.
But for those who rise early to see the dawn of a new day, they will see that the sun warms first the glorious blue sea where small fishing vessels seek their daily catch.
